A clock made in France. Purchased at auction on St. Helena in 1821 by a British officer, given to Rev. W. J. Cother, brought to US in 1885, purchased from Cother in Belton in 1894 by J. M. Carroll, sold to G. W. Carroll of Beaumont, who gave it to Baylor, circa 1900.
