Redhead

• A mount of a redhead (Aythya americana).

Collected in McLennan Co., Texas by Dr. James W. Jolliff between 1975 and 1989.

The redhead is a diving duck. During the breeding season, the male is easily recognizable by it copper colored head and blue beak.
