About This Object
- A freeze-dried specimen of a western spiny-tailed iguana (Ctenosaura pectinata).
Collected near Concordia, Sinaloa, Mexico by David Lintz in 1966.
Curious Facts
Western spiny-tailed iguanas live in groups and are excellent climbers. Females may grow to just over 3 feet, while males can grow to over 4 feet.
