Quartz

  • Quartz, a silica mineral, in its gray, translucent version referred to as smoky quartz.

Quartz is one of the most abundant natural resources on Earth. The largest known single crystal of quartz was found in Brazil. It measures 20 feet in length and weighs 88,000 pounds.
