Calcite

• Calcite in a crystalline form referred to as dog-tooth spar due to its resemblance to a dog's canine teeth.

Collected in Mexico by Margaret Jones prior to 1950.

Dog-tooth spar grows in caves or geodes through the precipitation of water-born calcite.
